Where ere thou hast been
你于何处诞生？
Here or in yon world manifest?
这里？或者是你世界的显现？
Canst thou tell what is
你能否告诉我们
Or what was or what is to come?
我们是谁，我们从哪儿来，我们又会往哪儿去吗？
Nothing shall last
万物皆会消失
And there are things
而此处却有
That shall never change
永远不会改变的事物
History is written in blood
在鲜血写就的史书中
Yet are battles really lost
战争真的
On the battlefields?
消失在这片战场上了吗？
Canst thou tell me whence thou comest

And where thou goest?
又将往哪里去吗？
And what is or what was
