I dream of a house that the rain can’t get in
where the rats don’t have dibs on the bread
I dream of a world where your neighbors don’t kill you
and the monsters are just in my head
I dream every night and I wake up each day
In a world that is broken and cruel
In a world that I fight dawn to dusk every day to survive
A world that I look at and wonder
why, why?

and I stifle the screams cause there’s monsters outside
I dream of a world that’s at peace with itself
of a place for the good, free and brave

Why is the world in the state it is in
When will a day without fighting begin
